Kinsted Wealth is a privately owned and independent portfolio management firm registered with the Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia Securities Commissions. Kinsted Wealth is registered as an Investment Fund Manager and Exempt Market Dealer in Alberta and Ontario.
Your Investment Report and custody statement(s) are intended for different purposes; accordingly, they may indicate different values. Your custody statement is the official record of holdings and follows standard industry practice for custodians including reporting income when paid and recognizing trades on the date of completion (settlement date). Your Investment Report reports income as it accrues and recognizes trades on the date initiated (trade date). There may also be differences in the pricing of individual securities or exchange rates. These differences are not material in determining the market value of your portfolio. Book value means the total amount paid to purchase a security, including any transaction charges related to the purchase, adjusted for reinvested distributions, returns of capital and corporate reorganizations. The book value shown in your statement may not be suitable for tax purposes as it may not reflect all required adjustments and may represent an estimated price of a security transferred in or from a third party. To the best of our ability we obtain the original book values for securities transferred in-kind, if any. Please refer to your custodian statements for book value and tax reporting as they are the official recordkeeper. In managing your account, your Portfolio Manager uses the investment management system that generates your Investment Report because it contains the most up-to-date information. We do not guarantee the accuracy of data collected from third party sources. For your report, we use the CFA performance reporting standard of Time Weighted Rate of Return (“TWRR”). The results of this performance calculation isolates the investment decisions made within your account and does not consider the timing of deposits and withdrawals which are not under the control of your portfolio manager. Therefore, your account’s TWRR can be compared against a relevant benchmark for you to assess your performance.
